It is said that the land lay beneath a sky just before sunset, the land itself a forest untouched by man, the canopy of which is broken by massive glass citadels said to be built by the ancient Star Elves. It’s actually a demi-plane, created by the Star Elves to connect to their ancestral home. The Fomorians rule the Feydark and even have large city strongholds within the maze-like caverns. As well as a race of creatures called the Fomorians, a race of Giants deformed by an age-old curse. All manner of creatures live here, one would expect fey versions of creatures that might be seen in the Prime Material Plane’s Underdark. This is the echo of the Prime Material Planes Underdark. The Feywilds is just as big as the Prime Material Plane and the Shadowfell, and due to it teeming with life it is filled with many notable locations. The only difference between a Sprite and a full-blown Fey is the stakes at which an encounter with one may present. In this plane when something seems too good to be true, it usually is, or comes with a price. Due to this, there are masses of creatures that call the Feywilds their home.īeing the land of the Fey means trickery is usually always afoot. Everything within the Feywiilds is magic, from the trees to the water. ![]() Life flows through this land, and alongside life comes magic. The Fey and ultimately the Elves originated from the Feywilds. However, don’t assume just because it’s called positive that it’s a safe place, it is fraught with danger and trickery. Much like the Shadowfell is the negative representation. The Feywilds are the positive representation of the Prime Material Plane. You can create a permanent teleportation circle by casting this spell in the same location every day for one year. You can commit a new sigil sequence to memory after studying it for 1 minute. You can learn additional sigil sequences during your adventures. When you first gain the ability to cast this spell, you learn the sigil sequences for two destinations on the Material Plane, determined by the DM. Each such circle includes a unique sigil sequence – a string of magical runes arranged in a particular pattern. ![]() ![]() Many major temples, guilds, and other important places have permanent teleportation circles inscribed somewhere within their confines. ![]() Any creature that enters the portal instantly appears within 5 feet of the destination circle or in the nearest unoccupied space if that space is occupied. Components: V, M (rare chalks and inks infused with precious gems with 50 gp, which the spell consumes)Īs you cast the spell, you draw a 10-foot-diameter circle on the ground inscribed with sigils that link your location to a permanent teleportation circle of your choice whose sigil sequence you know and that is on the same plane of existence as you.Ī shimmering portal opens within the circle you drew and remains open until the end of your next turn.
